Post graduation from OCHS in 2008, I attended the University of Georgia where I received my bachelor of science in psychology. After I graduated from UGA, I worked as an advocate and managed a statewide crisis textline for Project Safe, inc. Project Safe advocates, educates, and provides services to survivors of domestic violence. My job was the prevention and education/outreach of dynamics of dating abuse. I volunteered and have been working as an advocate at the Cottage sexual assault and child advocacy center. I accompany survivors during forensic interviews and exams as well as provide support for their families and partner agencies. I am attending the University of North Georgia to receive my masters in clinical mental health counseling. My thesis will focus research on sexual violence.
