I am excited to welcome you back to school for the 2023-2024 year at Oglethorpe County Elementary School! We are committed to establishing a strong academic foundation that will follow your children through graduation. 

As principal, it is important to me that everyone who steps through the doors of OCES--staff, students, parents, and visitors--are happy and excited to be here! A positive attitude enables us to all meet the challenges of academic excellence in a fun, nurturing, and supportive environment. We want students to believe they can succeed and give them many opportunities to be successful.

We have an outstanding faculty and staff at OCES that works relentlessly to ensure that all of our students succeed. Our teachers are dedicated, nurturing, and highly-qualified individuals who deliver standards-based instruction through best practices in education. I encourage you to stay in contact with your child’s teacher about how they are progressing academically and behaviorally.
